Carmen has been teaching preschool with YCUSD/Child Dev. Programs since 1991.  She has a BA in Early Childhood Education.

 

Curriculum and activities are designed to ease the transition to kindergarten.

Hours: 8 – 11 a.m. / 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Meals: Breakfast is provided during the morning sessions.  A snack is provided during the afternoon session

8:00-8:20:  Greet Children /Parents. Health Check. Wash Hands/ Choice Time
8:20-8:40:  Circle Time (date, calendar, weather.)  Social-Emotional Time/ Math Time
8:40-9:00:  Breakfast
9:00-9:20:  Circle Time. Alphabet Time.
9:20-9:50:  Outside Play Time
9:50-10:05: Content Time: Small Group Activities
10:05-10:45:  Center Time/Teacher Time 
10:45-11:00:  Clean Up/Book Time
11:00:  Dismissal
