Lorena has been teaching for YCUSD Child Development Programs since March of 1998. She holds her BA Degree in Early Childhood Education from National University of San Diego. She also holds her Site Supervisor's Permit.

Tami has been teaching for YCUSD Child Development Programs since April of 1998. She holds her BA degree in Child Development from California State University Fullerton. She also holds her Directors Permit. She continues to grow in the field through yearly workshops.

Alma has been teaching for 28 years. She worked for the Yuba Sutter Head Start Program for 14 years. She has been with the YCUSD for 14 years here at the Bernard State Preschool. She has her A.S. Degree in ECE. She also is a Mentor Teacher through Yuba College. She has been Mentoring for about 24 years. She likes to help college students who are majoring in ECE and being a role model for them, when they come into her classroom for observations. She loves baking as well!

Curriculum and activities are designed to ease the transition to kindergarten.
Ages: 3 to 4 years
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Hours based on parent work /training schedules
Year: Year Round Program
Fee: Varies depending on income
Meals: Two meals & two snacks provided daily
Eligibility: Parents employed, in training or seeking employment and are income eligible.
